Last Monday in January

The Rose-Compass group gave a gallery talk to the Arts Council at Westmont College for our exhibit there. After the talk Libby and I skipped lunch and went up the road to Cold Springs Canyon and paint. The Canyon was devastated in the debris flow in January of last year - the road is still gone, but some vegetation is coming back. There was water in the creek from the last rain.
You can still see the burned trees from the Thomas Fire.
