Work at Waterhouse Gallery

Check out the Waterhouse website: Waterhousegallery.com
Waterhouse has been in Santa Barbara for 35 years and they feature California Art Club artists, both local and state-wide. I've been asked to show some of my paintings there, so this is new and exciting. The Gallery will be open tonight for First Thursday until 7:30 pm.
I've posted these before, but since they will be a group, here they are again:

view from Parma Park, oil on panel, 8"x10"

Spring, Douglas Preserve, oil on panel, 8"x10"

El Capitan Path, oil on panel, 6"x12"

Late Afternoon, Farren Road, oil on panel, 6"x12"

After Spring Rain, Ellwood, oil on panel, 8"x10"

All the paintings were done in the field, en plein air. The immediacy of the moment, the light, air, color are so important. There is a freshness you can only get by painting directly outdoors.
